Noble M600

I present to you the readers, the Noble M600...

I am doing this review partially for one of my very good friends who has an obsession with this beautiful piece of artistic excellence. Now don't be surprised if you haven't heard of Noble, most people haven't and I can't blame you for this. Noble's headquarters are based out of Leicester, England; Noble was established is 1999 by Lee Noble and then he sold the company only 7 years later in 2006. The company, since its existance, has produced six total models with variations of each. The latest, however, the M600 is by far their greatest accomplishment.

Released in 2009, the M600 broke new ground for Noble, the M600 has 650bhp and can do 0-62.1 in 3.5 seconds! Surprisingly enough it uses the same engine from this bulky Swedish SUv...

That's right, the Noble M600 with 650bhp has the same engine as the Volvo XC90. However, the engine in the Noble is Twin-Turbocharged V8 Engine.

As you can see, not too flashy of an engine, but its fast none the less.

There's another view for you.

The Noble M600 is probably the ONLY car I would ever dare purchase in Baby Blue. The Noble only weighs 2,750 pounds. Meaning that it's power-to-weight ratio is significantly better than the infamous Bugatti Veyron 16.4.

The M600 is only available in a 6-Speed Manual gear box and it is rear wheel drive with no other options. The Noble's interior is relatively simple, nothing too fancy, but probably the coolest interior feature has to be the Traction Control switch.

In order to turn off traction control, which I have heard is rather dangerous for the inexperienced driver, you must flip up this cover, and then hit the button underneath. Here are some other interior features of the Noble M600, rather simple but simplicity is beauty.

I rather like the simplicity of this interior, everything appears to be very self explanatory.

Just too many buttons here, too much green light, too little...well, car. Saab fixed this in their newer models, however, its been replaced with a Satellite Navigation system, yet another distraction...maybe it's not fixed.

The rear end of the Noble M600 is elegantly simple, much like the rest of the car. There's a theme here you see...

And another rear view with the doors open.

Very nice looking, I do rather like this car a lot. It offers the power of a super car without the unnecessary, elegant, overdone interior that companies like Bugatti, Maserati, and Pagani feel they need to do.

To conclude, the Noble is an EXTREMELY fast, simple, expensive, baby blue super car. But it looks absolutely incredible any way you look at it.

Here's the Noble M600 as featured on Top Gear (UK version of course).
